Day 3 food blog

Current progress to weight goal= 3%

Today’s breakfast/morning snacking:1 Chicken breast (~7.5oz) 0g carbs, 1 slice Tillamook Swiss Cheese 0g carbs, 1oz Oscar Mayer Smoked ham 0g carbs, 1 hardboiled egg 500 mg carbs

3 12oz cans Pepsi MAX cola 0g carbs

Lunch: none

Afternoon Snack: ??

Dinner : For dinner I made curry chicken egg salad. It was pretty good. 1 chicken breast, 1.5 cups mayonaise, 2 hard boiled eggs, curry powder, salt/pepper/garlic.

Food blog, day 2

Today’s breakfast/morning snacking: 3 Hardboiled eggs, ~1.2g carbs, 2 12 oz Pepsi MAX cola, 0g carbs

Lunch: 1 Chicken breast (~7.5oz) 0g carbs, 1 slice Tillamook Swiss Cheese 0g carbs, 1oz Oscar Mayer Smoked ham, 0g carbs

Afternoon Snack: 2oz Jack Links beef Jerky, 8g carbs (eek! Snacks are hard to find!)

Dinner (planned):1 Chicken breast (~7.5oz) 0g carbs, 1 slice Tillamook Swiss Cheese 0g carbs, 1oz Oscar Mayer Smoked ham, 0g carbs

Total daily carbohydrate intake: 9.2 grams

A little high to balance for yesterday, but under my daily target 20 grams. Food info from http://wolframalpha.com where packages not available.

Established a baseline weight, progress will be given in percentages of my goal.

Update**: I had the wrong info for the carbs in my chicken since it’s boneless & skinless. Looks like I was well under my goal for the day.

New diet, food blog 1

Started a new low carb/low saturated fat diet, and with it a food blog.

Breakfast: 13 oz  Oven roasted white turkey (19g carbs) , 1 Liter Diet Pepsi (0 carbs)

Lunch: 16 oz Teriyaki Chicken (10? carbs), 16 oz Lo-carb Monster Energy (6 carbs)

Dinner: Update later

So I didn’t realize how much carbs were in the turkey or the chicken, and the Monster I thought was carb-free, not lo-carb. Tomorrow I should be prepared and pre-cook a lunch so I won’t have to buy one on the fly. I’m around 35g of carbs, which is 15 over my goal. Shooting for 5 or less tomorrow to balance.
